These books demonstrate some of the range of my writing. I am a lifelong writer: as a child, I wrote on door jambs and sheet music. When I was fifteen, I published my first poem, which won a prize in a local newspaper contest. I have always loved words and what they can do. In these poems and biographies, they communicate powerful stories in powerful ways.
